Mother's Day Run - Nashotah

The Mother's Day Run in Nashotah takes place in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, in early May, and invites participants to run or walk alongside their mothers. The half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K run and 5K walk all start at 9:00 a.m., and a Kiddo's 1K for children, about 0.6 miles, begins at 8:45 with medals for its young finishers.

Anyone looking for a different kind of challenge can try rucking, which means walking with a loaded pack. The relaxed mid-morning start makes it easy to turn the race into a family brunch plan. Wisconsin spring mornings can be cool, so keep a warm layer handy for the gathering at the start.
