Started by Conor Rigan, who faced an aggressive brain tumor as a child, the event aims to raise awareness of the limited resources devoted to childhood cancer. All net proceeds go to research and support programs. The untimed, inclusive event invites participants from all walks of life to run, walk or power walk as a family (strollers and baby carriages welcome), united in a strong message of solidarity and hope.
