The Mineral Point Historic Gettin’ The Lead Out Run brings runners and walkers to Mineral Point, Wisconsin, on July 4, 2027, with a 5-mile (8 km) run and a 2-mile (3.2 km) run, both starting at 8:00 a.m. Participants take in the scenic streets of this historic town on courses suited to all abilities.

Awards go to the top runners in each category, and every participant aged 12 and under receives a ribbon. Water stations are provided, and the municipal pool is open for a refreshing dip after the race.
