The Donald Dash Trail Run takes place at Donald County Park in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, on May 1, 2027, with two options for different levels of experience: a 15K (9.3 miles) at 9 a.m. for those seeking more of a challenge and a shorter 5K (3.1 miles) at 9:15 a.m. for beginners. The course features varied terrain, including prairie, narrow trails, sand, bridges and hills.

All proceeds go to Friends of Donald Park for trail maintenance and repair. Aid stations provide sports drinks, water and food. Awards go to the top male and female runners, with extra prizes and cash awards for new course records. Parking at the park is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.
