The Milton Optimist Independence Day 10K Run/5k Walk/1mi run is organized by the Milton Optimist Club in Milton, Wisconsin, on July 4, 2027. Participants choose between a competitive 10K (6.2 miles) run and a noncompetitive 5K (3.1 miles) walk, both starting at 8:00 a.m., or a 1-mile (1.6 km) run at 8:05 a.m.

The event supports local youth projects. Awards go to the top finishers in the 10K and the 1-mile, with additional age-group awards.
