The Mighty Mountain Run - 5k 10K is a trail run/walk held on May 8, 2027, at Camp Caraway in Sophia, North Carolina, with a 10K (6.2 miles) at 8:30 a.m. and a 5K (3.1 miles) at 9 a.m. It raises funds for camper scholarships, and both courses cross scenic wooded terrain with several climbs.

Participants enjoy professional timing, awards and free snacks. The scholarships support a range of camp programs, allowing children and families to attend retreats and camps they could not otherwise afford. The trails roll over hills and offer stunning views from Longarm Ridge and Orchard Mountain, on gravel, asphalt and forest paths.
