Asheboro Human Race

Asheboro Human Race is a fundraising event held in Asheboro, North Carolina, in Randolph County, on March 20, 2027. The 5k (3.1 miles) starts at 10:00 AM and can be run or walked. Community groups, faith organizations, schools, individuals and businesses enter as teams or on their own, raising money for the nonprofit of their choice, with proceeds split between the participating organizations and the Volunteer Center that organizes the event.

The team structure shapes the morning: much of the field is here together rather than chasing a time, so line up according to how you plan to cover the ground. Volunteers handle sponsorships, publicity, awards and refreshments. If you do want to race it, a month of steady running and one weekly faster session is all the 5K asks.
