About

Rolling for a Cure 5K takes place on September 18, 2027, in Blytheville, Arkansas. Two formats share the same 5K (3.1-mile) course and the same 8 a.m. start: a running race and a walking-only version, so everyone can choose how to cover the distance without getting in anyone else's way.

Separate results give runners a practical advantage: the field is more even, making it easier to settle into a goal pace from the very first few hundred yards. For a first 5K, allow six to eight weeks of training with three runs a week, gradually building in stretches of continuous running. The 8 a.m. start leaves little time on race morning, so getting your bib, gear and breakfast ready the night before avoids a rushed arrival at the start line.
