About

Master Kim's 5KTKD Scholarship Fundraiser, also known as the MKTKD 5K, takes place at Webster Park in Webster, New York, on August 8, 2027. The program features a 5K run/walk starting at 9 a.m. and a 1-mile kids' run/walk.

Participants of all ages are welcome, and a virtual option is available for those who can't attend in person. Every participant receives a medal, and special trophies go to the winners. The kids' event is for young runners aged 4 to 12, who can run alongside an adult if they need guidance.

Proceeds benefit the Taekwondo Fund, which has raised significant money for taekwondo scholarships for high school and college students who embody the principles of taekwondo.
