About

The Penfield Education Foundation 5K is the annual 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk organized by the Penfield Education Foundation (PEF) with the support of Family First Credit Union, held in Penfield on April 18, 2027, at 9:00 a.m. This community event takes place on the track at Penfield High School and aims to promote physical activity while supporting the foundation's mission of funding school programs not covered by the district budget.

Refreshments are provided after the race, and children 12 and under can take part in free races after the main event. Above all, the PEF 5K raises funds for scholarships for students in the Penfield Central School District.
