Made in the Shade is an annual 5K (3.1 miles) run and walk in Flowood, Mississippi, organized by the Flowood Rotary Club, with both starting at 7:30 a.m. on July 17, 2027. The race follows a scenic, shaded out-and-back course on local multi-use trails.

Awards go to the top overall male and female finishers and to age-group winners. Proceeds benefit the YMCA's Youth Summer Feeding Initiative and other local Rotary service projects.
