The Little River Trail Run is one of the classic trail races of Kansas, with a challenging 10K (6.2-mile) course just west of Little River, held on May 22, 2027. The 10K and the 5K (3.1 miles) start at 8:00 a.m., and a 10K walk sets off at 7:30 a.m.

The course mixes roads, rolling prairie, real cowboys and herds of cattle, demanding focus and stamina. It includes two creek crossings and the climb up the famous “Suicide Hill,” a true test for any runner looking for elevation and grit. Several distances and formats offer options for athletes of all levels.
