The Lincoln Memorial Garden Trail Run 8K is an 8K (5 miles) trail race in Springfield, Illinois, held on May 29, 2027, with a 7:30 a.m. start, followed by a Kids Fun Run at 9:00 a.m.

The challenging, scenic course winds through the garden, along Lake Springfield and across the Ostermeier Prairie Center grounds. The event is well organized, with a knowledgeable staff, refreshments and marked trails. Kids have their own race at Cawley Meadow. Participants receive a 50/50 cotton-polyester T-shirt, a wooden medallion, and post-race food and drinks. Awards go to the top finishers in several categories, and contributions support special projects at the garden.
