About

The Legacy of Courage Half Marathon takes place in Houston, Texas, in early May, at Burroughs Park in Tomball. The event honors and supports disabled veterans, with proceeds going to the Outdoor Disabled Veterans program, which fosters connection and healing for veterans through time in nature.

The half marathon (13.1 miles), a quarter marathon (6.55 miles), a 5K and a one-mile run all start at 8:00 a.m., with a Kids Dash five minutes earlier. The activities are inclusive for all ages and focus on fun, safety and personal achievement. Each participant receives a medal and a shirt, and awards recognize outstanding performances. Expect warm, humid conditions by mid-morning.
