About

The Lake Kissimmee Adventure Race & 50K takes place at Lake Kissimmee State Park near Lake Wales, Florida, on March 20, 2027, offering a 50K (31-mile) trail run starting at 7:00 a.m. and 4-hour and 8-hour adventure races starting at 8:00 a.m.

The adventure race focuses on endurance, teamwork and strategic navigation, combining mountain biking, hiking and canoeing, and can be entered solo or as a team. The 50K tests runners' endurance over five scenic loops, with a symbolic horseshoe-shaped challenge that pays tribute to Florida's cowboy heritage. Along the way, participants take in varied landscapes mixing historic and scenic features, in an event that appeals to seasoned runners and newcomers alike.
