The Lake Benbrook Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Fort Worth, Texas, in the second half of February. The 5K (3.1 miles) starts at 8:05 a.m. and the half marathon (13.1 miles) at 10:30 a.m.

The Cox Running Club invites the running community, along with friends and family, to the annual race, which follows a scenic course along Lake Benbrook. All participants receive a custom medal and enjoy refreshments afterward. Awards go to the male and female divisions, as well as masters and grandmasters. The late morning start for the half marathon means temperatures may climb during the run, even in winter, so choose layers you can tie around your waist and bring fluids in case the sun comes out.
