Candy Cane Course FWTX

Candy Cane Course FWTX lines up in Fort Worth, Texas, on December 19, 2026. Everything goes off at 9:00 a.m.: a 15K, a 10K, a 5K, a one-mile, and a Kids Dash. Entry brings a designer shirt, a custom medal, and chip timing with live results and an awards presentation, plus free photos and treats waiting at the finish. A virtual option lets you run the distance from anywhere, and there are extras for youth and kids entrants. Shirts are guaranteed only if you register early.

The 15K is the format worth traveling for, roughly 9.3 miles, long enough to test the aerobic work you did through the fall. Build toward it with a weekly long run of eight to ten miles. The shorter races need far less: a month of steady running covers the 5K, and the one-mile is there for beginners and walkers.
