About

The Laguna Hills Memorial Day Half Marathon, 5K and 10K takes place in Laguna Hills, California, in late May, and honors members of the US military and their families while promoting fitness and community involvement. All three races start at 7:00 a.m.: a half marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K run and a 5K run/walk.

Participants of all levels are welcome, and the event combines athletic activity with remembrance in a scenic setting that is friendly to families. Orange County mornings in late May are often cool and cloudy, then warm up by midday, so an early start is helpful. Walkers can choose the 5K at their own pace.
