Santa Claus For A Cause 5K/10K is held at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, California, on December 12, 2026. The 10K (6.2 miles) and the 5K (3.1 miles) both go off at 8:30 AM, and a Kids' Dash starts earlier, at 8:00 AM. Finishers receive a beach-themed medal that doubles as an ornament, and awards go to age-group winners as well as to the best costumes.

The morning leans festive: live carols, falling snow, a visit from Santa, themed apparel to choose from, and coffee, hot chocolate, tacos and tamales available on site.
