About

The Læsø Ultra is one of Denmark's most scenic ultramarathon challenges, held in Vesterø Havn on the island of Læsø on 18 September 2027. Alongside the 65 km ultra, which starts at 10:00, the programme includes a marathon, a half marathon, a 10 km walk and run, and a half-marathon walk, all starting at 09:20.

The ultra starts directly from the ferry Margrethe at Vesterø: the race begins when the ferry's horn sounds, with runners setting off from the car deck. Whether you spend the night on the island or arrive just in time for the start, the adventure begins as soon as you step off the ferry. The course takes in a mix of beaches, gravel roads, forests and scenic trails, letting participants explore the whole island. After finishing, runners return to Vesterø, to Guesthouse Læsø, where a hearty meal awaits.
