The Kentucky Cryptid Series - Mothman is a trail race at Waverly Park in Louisville on June 12, 2027, with a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) and a 6-mile (9.7 km) race, both starting at 8:00 a.m. The Mothman Race is the second event in a series of trail races held at the park.

This family-friendly race uses a course that starts near the playground. Inspired by the Mothman cryptid, the event awards overall winners in the male, female and non-binary categories. Participants who complete three of the four races, in person or virtually, can earn a Cryptid Series Survivor medal and T-shirt. The event is cupless, so runners need to bring their own drinks.
