The Hometown Half Marathon & 5K/10K takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, in mid-May. It is an annual event for all ages, with the half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K, one-mile run and Kid's Dash all starting at 7:00 a.m. Electronic timing, pacers for the half marathon and a selection of treats at the finish are included.

Participants receive a branded shirt, a personalized bib and a medal, and there is youth pricing for the 5K and 10K. In the children's race, those under ten get a mini bib, a shirt in their size and a medal. A virtual option is available, and organizers advise registering early to be sure of an event shirt. Louisville gets warm and humid by mid-May, so hydrate in advance.
