About

The Kennedy Kids Foundation 5K is held each year at Barry University in Miami Shores, with the next edition on September 12, 2027, at 7:00 a.m. Organized by the Kennedy Kids Foundation, the race raises awareness of mental health and suicide prevention.

Inspired by the late Kennedy Bailey, the event supports mental health and youth education initiatives. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome, and results are tracked in real time with chip timing. Cash prizes go to the top runners and medals are awarded by age group. A post-race celebration includes community activities, and those who cannot attend in person can take part virtually.
