The Kailua Beach 4.4-Mile Shark Chase is a beach run at Kailua Beach Park in Kailua on July 11, 2027, starting at 6:30 a.m. The 4.4-mile (7.1 km) out-and-back course along the shoreline is both challenging and scenic, with stretches of sand and shallow water that test runners' agility and endurance while showcasing one of Oahu's most beautiful beaches.

Awards go to the top overall finishers and to the winners of each age group. After the race, athletes gather for a community meal in the park, a long-standing tradition that reflects the friendly island spirit of the event.
