The Juneteenth Detroit 5k Run/Walk takes place in Highland Park on June 18, 2027, at 8:30 a.m. This 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people, promotes equality and justice, and is part of the annual Juneteenth parade.
Participants can run or walk, and are encouraged to bring their families and pets along. Proceeds benefit a local nonprofit.
