About

The Hospital Hill Run Half Marathon, 10K & 5K takes place in Kansas City, Missouri, in mid-May, and it is one of the city's oldest road races. All three races start at 7:00 a.m. and begin and end at Crown Center Square. The course takes on the famous Hospital Hill, a name that comes up often in Kansas City running conversations.

Participants receive unique items, including a finisher medal, a bib and commemorative apparel, along with finish-line refreshments, entertainment on the course and a post-race party. A virtual option is available for those who cannot come in person, and proceeds benefit local charities. The event welcomes beginners, families and experienced runners. Save energy for the hill, and respect it, rather than charging up early in the half marathon.
