About

The Hopkins Raspberry Run in Hopkins features a 5 mile (8 km) race and a 1 mile (1.6 km) race on July 18, 2027. Created by Patrick Lanin, founder of the Twin Cities Track Club, it has been a tradition since 1964.

The longer course loops around Shady Oak Lake and finishes on Main Street ahead of the Hopkins Raspberry Festival parade. The Main Street Mile was added in 2010, offering a flat, fast course on Main Street with the same finish line as the longer race. The 5 mile starts at 11:00 a.m. and the mile at noon.
