About

The Excelsior Firecracker offers a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1-mile race along the scenic shores of Lake Minnetonka and through the historic streets of Excelsior, Shorewood, Deephaven and Greenwood. All races start at 7:30 a.m. on July 4, 2027, and each distance can be entered with or without a race shirt.

Participants choose from several courses while soaking up the festive atmosphere. Friends and family are welcome to volunteer and join in the post-race activities.
