About

The Hometown Half Marathon & 5K/10K takes place in Denver, Colorado, in early May, with all races starting at 7:00 a.m. The half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K and one-mile run are joined by a short Kid's Dash. It is an annual event built for families, with timing by electronic chip, live results and prizes.

Participants receive a branded shirt, a custom medal and a bib, and the half marathon has pacers. Free photos and treats at the finish, a virtual option and reduced youth pricing round out the offer, and the mile run is untimed. Denver sits a mile above sea level, so if you are arriving from lower ground, expect your breathing to feel different and keep the early miles gentle.
