Hinson Lake 24 Hour Ultra

This endurance event at Hinson Lake in Rockingham, North Carolina, is a 24-hour race on a sand-and-gravel trail that loops around the lake.

Participants must wear a timing chip to record their laps. The trail crosses several small wooden bridges and is marked at night with glow sticks. To prevent congestion on the trail, all pacers must be registered. Parking is limited and regulated to allow emergency access. Awards go to the top male and female finishers, as well as those who surpass certain distance milestones. The event is USATF-sanctioned and capped at 500 participants.
