About

The Heroes for the House 5K Run/Walk Presented by IREM takes place in downtown Indianapolis on June 19, 2027, with an 8:30 a.m. start. The course runs along the downtown canal.

The race is open to everyone, whatever their age, including competitive runners, walkers, and families with kids and pets. Proceeds help families with hospitalized children cover their stay at the Ronald McDonald House. There is prize money for the top male and female runners, age-group awards, kids' activities and a beginners' run after the main event.
