The Heatwave Half Marathon - Indianapolis is a family-friendly endurance event in Indianapolis on July 11, 2027, featuring a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a half-marathon relay, a 10K and a 5K, all starting at 7:00 a.m. Races are chip-timed with live results and awards, and the event includes free race photos and complimentary ice cream at the finish.

Participants receive a custom bib, a designer T-shirt and a finisher medal. The program also includes an untimed 1-mile run and a Kids Dash for children 10 and under, with dedicated youth swag. A virtual option lets participants complete the event remotely and still receive the race gear, and youth pricing is available for children 12 and under.
