The Heart Well Homestead 5k is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk in Peru, New York, on June 6, 2027, with an 11:00 a.m. start. Also presented as the Superhero Strides 5K, it supports pregnant women and single mothers experiencing homelessness through Heart Well Homestead, a nonprofit organization.
Runners and walkers follow a scenic course through the countryside. All abilities are welcome and superhero costumes are encouraged. There are prizes for the race winners and the best costumes, commemorative T-shirts, food and activities for the whole family. Proceeds help provide safe housing and support for mothers and children in need.
