About

The Groton City Brew Run is an annual 5K run or walk at Eastern Point Beach in Groton, in southeastern Connecticut, open to runners and walkers alike. On September 11, 2027, the Kids' Run (1.5 km) starts at 10:30 a.m., followed by the 5K Run or Walk (3.1 miles) at 11:00 a.m.

Participants set off in a mass start and follow a scenic route. After the race, a beer festival awaits with local craft beers, food and live music. Families can also sign their kids up for a free children's race, with advance registration required. The event champions community participation and offers a friendly atmosphere for everyone.
