About

Great Pumpkin Run 5K - Grandview Heights takes place on October 24, 2026 in Grandview Heights, Ohio, with the 5K going off at 8:30 a.m. It is a timed fun run open to every age and ability, so quick local runners and first-timers share the same start line. You can sign up online in advance or register on race morning at the Grandview Middle School gym in Columbus.

Expect a road 5K in a compact residential town — the kind of race where pacing matters more than terrain. If you want a fast one, a few weeks of 400s and 800s at goal effort plus one steady tempo run each week will cover it. If you are here for the pumpkin-season atmosphere instead, jog it, walk part of it, and enjoy the morning without watching the clock.
