About

The Columbus 10K is the city's oldest road race, held every June since 1977. The 2027 edition takes place on June 6, starting at 8:00 a.m., with a 10K (6.2 miles) run/walk and a walk-only 10K. The course starts and finishes at North Bank Park, taking runners along the downtown riverfront, through the Short North and German Village neighborhoods and past Columbus landmarks.

The event also includes an 800-meter kids' race, and every finisher receives a medal. The 2026 edition was set to complete a three-year series devoted to the city skyline, forming a panoramic image of Columbus. Competitive athletes will find a well-organized race with prize money and generous age-group awards, while recreational runners can enjoy a well-marked course and dependable support.
