GOTL Monster Run takes place in Geneva, Ohio on October 24, 2026. The single event is a 1-mile run starting at 7:00 p.m., a Halloween-themed evening race at Geneva-on-the-Lake.

A mile is a different animal from a 5K. It is short enough that anyone can enter and long enough that going out too hard genuinely hurts — the standard advice is to run the first quarter at the pace you want to average, not faster. Bring a layer for standing around before the 7:00 p.m. start, and if you intend to race it, jog at least a mile beforehand so your legs are ready from the first stride.
