The Full Moon 5 is a 5-mile (8 km) night trail run at Sleepy Hollow State Park near Laingsburg, Michigan, on January 30, 2027, starting at 6 p.m. Runners cover varied, pet-friendly terrain lit only by a headlamp or flashlight, on a course marked with reflective and standard flags.

Water is available at the finish, but there are no aid stations on the course, so runners need to be self-sufficient during the race. Every finisher receives a patch and a sticker, and chip timing delivers accurate results straight to runners' phones. Awards go to the top runners overall and by age group.
