About
The Fourth of July 5K Fun Run is an annual 5K (3.1-mile) fun run hosted by the Great Falls TrailBlazers in Great Falls, Virginia, on the morning of July 4. Runners meet at the Great Falls Library on Georgetown Pike, and the race starts promptly at 8 a.m.
Free, pet-friendly and open to all ages, the run follows a trail loop through the woods, so jogging strollers are recommended for young kids. It kicks off the Great Falls 4th of July Hometown Celebration, with parades and festivities on the Village Green.
