About

Forward for Hope 5K takes place at Thompson Park in Upper Arlington, in the Columbus area, in honor of Carter Edell. The 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk starts at 5:30 p.m. on August 15, 2027, alongside a kids' run, and a virtual option is also available.

The gathering brings the community together in memory of those lost to suicide, raising awareness and sharing a message of hope. Proceeds go to the Carter Edell Foundation, which supports the community and local students in Carter's memory.
