About

The Hometown Half Marathon & 5K/10K takes place in Columbus, Ohio, in early May, and every race, from the half marathon (13.1 miles) to the 10K, 5K, one-mile run and Kid's Dash, starts at 7:00 a.m. This annual event is family friendly, with chip timing, live results and awards.

Participants receive a branded shirt and a custom medal, and the half marathon has pacers. Free photos, finish-line refreshments and a virtual option are also part of the package. Youth pricing applies to the 5K and 10K, the one-mile run is untimed, and the kids' race brings special gifts for children ten and under. Central Ohio is mostly gentle, so a first half here is a friendly one.
