About

The Foot Chase 5k/10k, also known as the IDEA Foot Chase, is a family-friendly race on the scenic Riverwalk trails in Mishawaka's Central Park, with views of the St. Joseph River and a route through the local community. The 10K (6.2 miles) and the 5K (3.1 miles) both start at 8:30 a.m. on September 18, 2027.

The event supports the Indiana Drug Enforcement Association, which works to reduce drug demand through law enforcement training, awareness campaigns and community partnerships. Proceeds from registrations and fundraising go to IDEA's mission. After the race, participants can enjoy an awards ceremony, refreshments and a raffle, all promoting awareness and support for a healthier, drug-free Indiana.
