About

The Firefly 5K Run/Walk in Elizabethton, Tennessee, is an annual evening community event hosted by Main Street Elizabethton, starting at 7 p.m. on August 13, 2027.

Stroller- and pet-friendly, it lets participants walk or run the 5K (3.1 miles) with their leashed dogs, and special treats go to the first dogs across the finish line. As Main Street Elizabethton's main fundraiser, the event's proceeds support downtown revitalization, business projects and community initiatives.
