About

Feast of Trumpets takes place in Fate, Texas, on September 25, 2027, with four closely spaced starts: the Kid's Dash at 7:50 a.m., the 10K (6.2 miles) at 8 a.m., then the 5K (3.1 miles) and the 1-mile race (1.6 km) at 8:05 a.m.

All finishers of the mile, 5K and 10K receive a custom medal and an event T-shirt, and the top four in each age group are recognized. With awards running four deep per age group, the event will appeal to runners who like to measure themselves against their peers rather than the overall field. The 5K is a good choice for a first race, while the 10K calls for having already run an hour nonstop in training. Since the 5K and the mile start almost together, it pays to line up in the right spot so you don't get boxed in at the first turn.
