New Years Double

New Years Double spans two days in Allen, Texas, on December 31, 2026 and January 1, 2027, in Collin County. Each day carries the same program: a 5K at 7:00 a.m., then the half marathon (13.1 miles) and the marathon (26.2 miles) together at 8:20. Runners may enter more than one race across the weekend, which is where the event gets its name, and finishers receive shirts and medals. Every level is catered for and the atmosphere is a friendly one.

The draw is the double: a marathon on New Year's Eve and another on New Year's Day puts a race in each calendar year, and pairing a half with a marathon is the gentler version of the same idea.
