About

The Everyone Runs Catalina State Park Half Marathon and 5.3 Mile Trail Races take place in Tucson, Arizona, in early April, in Catalina State Park. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 7:00 a.m. and the 5.3-mile race at 7:20 a.m.

Both start and finish at the trailhead and show off the park's scenery, including some stair climbs. Runners can win awards, age-group medals and raffle prizes. The event includes a free breakfast and coffee, plus professional race photos. Early April in the Sonoran Desert is typically warm and dry, and the sun climbs fast, which is why the early start helps. Bring plenty of water, wear sun protection and be ready for rocky, uneven surfaces on the trail.
