Ecomarathon Nikotama

The Ecomarathon Nikotama takes place on 17 January 2027 in Futako-Tamagawa, also known as Nikotama, in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan, with a half marathon, a 10 km and a 5 km parent-and-child fun run. The start is at 11:00 from Tamagawa Futako Bridge Park, on the banks of the Tama River.

All three races are run on loop courses, past lakes and ponds in a calm natural setting despite being so close to the city.

The race has a limited field of around three hundred runners and is part of a series organised by the same team in several Japanese prefectures, including Saitama, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto and Kumamoto. The event supports several charities, including a Japanese food bank and refugee aid organisations.
