The Dirty Spokes Red Top Roaster 8.85/3.1 Mile Trail Running event in Cartersville offers an 8.85-mile (14.2 km) and a 3.1-mile (5 km) trail run, both starting at 8:00 a.m. on July 24, 2027 from the open area behind the Red Top Mountain State Park Lodge parking lot. Runners follow wooded trails with hills and doubletrack, accessible to all levels thanks to minimal roots and rocks.

The course takes in the Sweet Gum, Homestead, Campground, Iron Hill and Visitor Center Loop trails, a scenic escape from the city, passing landmarks such as the Visitor Center and the tennis courts. Water stops are available along the way, and the event is ideal for anyone new to trail running.
