The Devon & Cornwall Backyard Run in Plympton is a backyard ultra on 28 August 2027, starting at 9am, in which each athlete must complete a 6.7 km loop in under 60 minutes, setting off on the hour, every hour.

Any time left over is used to recover before heading out on the next lap. The race carries on like this indefinitely, lap after lap, until only one runner is left: the last one standing wins.
