About

Denfit 1776 is an annual race at Cape Vincent Recreation Park in Cape Vincent that honors America's founders. On July 4, 2027, both options start at 7:00 a.m.: a single loop of 7.76 miles (12.5 km) or the DENFIT 1776 Challenge of 17.8 miles (28.6 km).

Whichever option they choose, runners must carry and display an American flag for the entire race. Every participant receives a commemorative T-shirt and a medal, and refreshments and light snacks are served at the finish.
